INCO ACADEMY IN LUXEMBOURG
According to the OECD, youth unemployment in Luxembourg is at least 14%, with rates highest for low-skilled individuals and youth from migrant backgrounds.
With a presence in Luxembourg since 2016, we train and build pathways for students with a strong motivation to unlock new opportunities in the digital space.
INCO Academy’s training programs provide equitable access to the knowledge, skills, and habits necessary to secure in-demand, high-opportunity jobs in the changing economy. We welcome learners facing barriers to employment. We strive to create pathways to greater stability for everyone who needs it, while allowing us all to build new foundations together by increasing diverse representation in new industries.
Our programs and partners
Thanks to the support of the JP Morgan Chase Foundation, the INCO Academy has been rolling out job readiness programs in the digital and tech spheres for unemployed and disadvantaged youth in Luxembourg since 2016. To date, we have trained over 500 students, with 80% of our graduates reaching a positive outcome. Throughout the end of 2021, we will be welcoming an additional 150 learners to propel them into secure jobs with the help of our implementing partners.
Our implementing partners
INCO Academy has partnered with NumericALL to deliver technical up-skilling programs designed for young learners under the age of 35 who are not in employment or training, and are facing barriers to professional integration. As a leader in digital training in Luxembourg, programs conducted by NumericALL will boost participants' skills in HTML, CSS, Web Marketing and SEO, as well as provide soft skills training to learners' job-seeking efforts.
This program is possible thanks to the support of the J.P. Morgan. In addition to financial support, the firm’s employees have been strongly engaged with the professional development of INCO Academy’s students by providing career mentorship, CV building workshops, and interview practice sessions.
